Lindsey Berkson, MA, DC, CNS, DACBN

Dr. Berkson has taught re-licensing CME seminars to MDs, pharmacists, NPs, ND's, chiropractors, acupuncturists and nutritionists since the 1980’s. 

Dr. Berkson was a Distinguished Hormone Scholar at an estrogen think-tank (Center for Bioenvironmental Research) at Tulane University for 10 years working with the scientists who discovered the first estrogen receptors, ER Alpha and ER Beta (Elwood Jensen PhD and Jan-ake Gustafsson PhD. Dr. Berkson worked with Physician's for Social Responsibility and wrote with the WHO one of the first works on the etiology of the diabetes epidemic due to endocrine disruption (with hormone crusaders Linda Birnbaum PhD and Lynn Goldman PhD). 

Dr. Berkson wrote one of the first breakthrough books on endocrine disruption (Hormone Deception, McGraw-Hill 2000, Awakened Medicine Press 2016). This book has been used by university's environmental science programs at many prestigious institutions like the University of Minn. She has published another 20 books. 

Dr. Berkson' book Healthy Digestion the Natural Way (Wiley & Sons 2000) sold over a million copies and is one of the first gut, nutrition, spiritual books. Dr. Berkson co-invented a drug for dialysis patients with Jack Moncrief MD, the co-inventor of home dialysis and the inventor of telemedicine. Together they published original peer-reviewed research with the University of Texas and Nathan Bryan PhD on the role of nitric oxide and dialysis. 

Dr. Berkson is a DES daughter and suffered multiple cancers and infertility and has spearheaded much DES Action research and education globally. 

Dr. Berkson has battled multiple cancers, blindness, and much more secondary to the model compound of endocrine disruption, DES in-utero exposure, and thus is passionate about passing critical information forward. 

Dr. Berkson has been a peer reviewer for the journal Environmental Toxicology. She is also on the medical advisory board for the major pharmaceutical support company PCCA based out of Houston, TX. 

Dr. Berkson is credited with the in-depth knowledge of Estrogen Vindication and estrogen's science surrounding safety, efficacy and outreach. 


Ralph Esposito, ND

Dr. Ralph Esposito is a licensed naturopathic physician with a specialized focus on optimizing healthspan and lifespan through integrative, evidence-based approaches. With deep expertise spanning clinical nutrition, functional medicine, precision supplementation, exercise science, sleep optimization, and mental-emotional health, Dr. Esposito has dedicated his career to personalized patient care.  

Dr. Esposito completed a highly regarded integrative medical internship at the Department of Urology at NYU Langone Health, collaborating closely with leaders in men’s health and preventive medicine. He further honed his skills and insights during a five-year tenure under the mentorship of Dr. Peter Attia, focusing on longevity medicine. As an adjunct professor at New York University, he educates the next generation of professionals in the Steinhardt Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics program. In addition to his clinical and teaching roles, Dr. Esposito serves as Chief Science and Nutrition Officer at AG1, guiding the company’s product development and scientific strategy.   

Outside of clinical practice, Dr. Esposito has authored work in peer-reviewed journals, contributed to prominent medical texts, and frequently shares his knowledge through education and professional collaborations.


Lylen Ferris, ND

Lylen Ferris, ND attended Davidson College in North Carolina where she obtained a BA in Cultural Anthropology and a minor in art history. After travelling extensively and witnessing different cultures and ways of thinking, Dr. Ferris realized naturopathic medicine was her calling. She completed her pre-medical training in Australia and returned to the United States to attend medical school at the National College of Natural Medicine (now NUNM) in Portland, Oregon, where she trained as a general practitioner and tailored her studies to focus on women’s health.  

Her love of teaching began during her advanced women’s health residency, where she taught clinical education and gynecology classes while mentoring students. Dr. Ferris has continued to teach other medical professionals in the US and around the globe at numerous functional medicine conferences, online webinars, and seminars. Dr. Ferris offers a deep knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching hormone and neurotransmitter biochemistry, including research, testing, and optimization.  

Dr. Ferris is Director of Clinical Education at Doctor’s Data, where she leads a team of physicians focusing on educating practitioners worldwide on hormone and neurotransmitter testing and optimization. She also maintains a clinical practice in Portland, Oregon and her focus has grown to include males and females of all ages. 


Tom Guilliams, PhD

Thomas G. Guilliams, PhD (Tom) earned his doctorate in molecular immunology from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. For the past two decades, he has spent his time investigating the mechanisms and actions of lifestyle and nutrient-based therapies, and is an expert in the therapeutic uses of dietary supplements. Tom serves as an adjunct associate professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy and was the VP of Science for Ortho Molecular Products for 24 years (he now serves them as a consultant). Tom has written a series of teaching manuals (Road Maps) that outline and evaluate the evidence for the principles and protocols that are fundamental to the functional and integrative medical community.  He is the founder and director of the Point Institute, an independent research and publishing organization that facilitates the distribution of his many publications. A frequent guest-speaker, Dr. Guilliams provides training to a variety of health care disciplines in the use of lifestyle and natural medicines. He lives in the woods outside of Stevens Point, Wisconsin. 


James LaValle, RPh

James B. LaValle, B.S.Pharm, CCN, MT, DHM, DHPh is an internationally recognized clinical pharmacist, author, and board-certified clinical nutritionist, with over 40 years of clinical experience in natural products, lifestyle, drug/nutrient depletion, compounding pharmacy and peptides.  

He has served thousands of clients, using a metabolic model for health, at his facilities in Orange County, CA, Austin, TX and formerly at LaValle Metabolic Institute, in Cincinnati Ohio..   

He is the founder of Metabolic Code Enterprises, (www.metaboliccode.com) that pinpoints the metabolic roadblocks to health using a symptom survey, lab markers, biometrics, and wearable data.   

He taught for 18 years as an appointed adjunct faculty member at the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy served as faculty at the College of Medicine at U.C. He is Adjunct Faculty for the Masters of Integrative Medicine program at the George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences.  

As the clinical co-chair at the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine(A4M), he has trained thousands of health care professionals on the value of integrative health programs. 

He is Chair of the International Peptide Society where he educates allied health care professionals on application of peptide therapies. 

LaValle gained national recognition as National Clinician of the Year in 2012 by the Natural Products Association for his pioneering work in furthering the professional standards of integrative care, and in 2017 as Educator of the Year for American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.  

Jim was named one of the “50 Most Influential Pharmacists” by American Druggist magazine. 

He is author of more than 26 books including, “Cracking the Metabolic Code,” and has authored 20 e-Books and four databases and well over 200 articles, as well as being published in peer-reviewed literature.   

 He is currently Chief Science Officer at Life Time “the healthy way of life company”.  

 

Julia Malkowski, ND, DC, BSc

Dr. Julia Malkowski enjoys empowering individuals via "docere"; to teach, to delight and to move. Upon experiencing the excellent results of restoring the health of her infant son, Dr. Malkowski began her career in Functional Medicine. Dr. Malkowski graduated with a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine in December 2017, with advanced standing, and a doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine in April 2016 from National University of Health Sciences. Dr. Malkowski has presented at Autism One, International College of Integrative Medicine (ICIM), the Institute of Women’s Health and Integrative Medicine (IWHIM) and The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M). Dr. Malkowski has been published in the American College for the Advancement in Medicine and The Townsend Letter. She remains committed to optimal health on a personal level and professional level as Staff Doctor of Clinical Education at Doctor’s Data, Inc. 


Laura Neville, ND

Laura Neville graduated from the National University of Naturopathic Medicine and maintains a private practice in Portland, OR with a focus on endocrine health including type 1 diabetes, Hashimotos, and hormone optimization throughout the female lifespan. She sits on the advisory board for Hormone University providing evidence-based alternative medicine research and clinical expertise. Her published article on integrative approaches to type 1 diabetes can be found in the journal of Integrative and Complementary Therapies. 

Dr. Neville is also a staff physician in the Clinical Education department at Doctor’s Data where she writes, researches, and consults with physicians around the world on complex cases. She is a frequent speaker at professional conferences around the US on the topics of women's health, testing methodologies, brain health, and type 1 diabetes.
